About the Recipe

For me. Migraines are caused by increased intolerance to amines, salicylates, diary and some grains. Afterwards finding foods I can keep down with out setting off another attack can be hard. Custard is one of the nicer safer ones for me, but in small amounts. Starting with a Table spoon, waiting 10 mins before risking anymore. (it may be safe, but my gut might have other ideas).

Ingredients

  • 1 TBSP Corn flour

  • 2-3 TBSP of Caster sugar

  • 1 Egg

  • 1 Cup of diary free milk (Home made rice, though Soya Milk tastes better)

  • a drop of Pure Vanilla Essence- optional

Preparation

Put Corn flour in pot, add milk little by little stirring from a paste to liquid so that no lumps form. Add Sugar and egg and whisk together till well combined.

Put pot on stove and cook till it reaches a mild simmer, shortly after it should thicken and thats when it can be served. Make sure to whisking all the time so it doesn't stick to the pot.
